Why use our capsules?
Lighter, cheaper to ship, and great for travel. They are more potent at 500mg...compared to health store brands, which are only 50-100mg. Just as effective as the pure oil, in a vegetable gelatin shell. The capsules are small and very easy to take.

Is our oil the same as the grocery store products?
No. Dr. Joseph’s Grape Seed Oil is “cold pressed”...not the cheaper cooking variety.  Many cheaper food grape oils have been processed with heat to remove pesticides and chemicals used during the extraction process.  This destroys the naturally occurring antioxidants.

What is the expiration date on the products?
We fill our bottles on a monthly basis to ensure fresh, quality Grape Seed Oil. The expiry date will always be current and allow at least a 1 year product guarantee for quality assurance.

How should it be stored?
All unopened bottles should be kept in a cool, dark place. Grape Seed Oil is extremely stable, unlike vegetable oils which begin to oxidize as soon as they are opened. Once opened, it can be kept on a countertop away from a sunny window or in the refrigerator.

Can I take Grape Seed Oil with my medications?
Dr. Joseph’s all natural Grape Seed Oil is classified as a food product. It is safe and effective for all types of ailments. However, we always advise that you seek the advice of a health professional when taking other medications, treatments, or nursing.

What grapes are used?
We use a blend of all the grapes available. Flavour, odour and colour may vary slightly with each batch due to variations in grape quantities.

Is sediment normal?
Yes, some settling of organic matter is natural.

Can I take too much?
People suffering from severe inflammation, cholesterol and high blood pressure have been known to take up to triple the dose with no side effects. The active ingredients are water soluble, so excess will be excreted in sweat and waste water, and side effects are unknown.

Can I use it for cooking?
Due to the higher quality and concentration of antioxidants in our oil, we usually recommend the cheaper grocery store variety for cooking. Once the oil has been heated the active ingredients are destroyed, reducing the benefits.

What other uses are there?
Eye makeup remover, aromatherapy carrier oil (blended with essential oils), massage oil, short term preservative, treating cutting boards/wood, salad dressings, cooking, baking, frying...and more!
